This complex system takes a lot of time to administer properly to ensure that vouchers are sent out and received by Contractors and Sub-contractors and that any tax withheld on behalf of a sub-contractor is returned to the Revenue on time.

Meeting year end deadlines

The tax-year end return is time consuming and again has a deadline to be met to avoid penalties etc.

We would recommend to anyone operating this scheme to outsource it to us - nobody enjoys processing this one but we have set up some excellent systems in-house to ensure that every criteria (and there are several) are met and carried out to the Inland Revenue's directives.
